Moving makes me sad
Its Moving Time! Now for some photos!
I'll be presenting them in terms of old versus new and you can judge for yourself.
Our old mail boxes, looking like crap on a stick.
Looks smaller, but maybe we'll manage to keep them clean. No staff boxes in the new office.
On the old white board it was really hard to clean old writing off.
I haven't tried writing on this new one yet. I suppose we'll set up the same system of sections here as well. Colby expressed interest in sitting close to the new board for some reason.
My old cubicle. Looks like a mess.
This is one station. A lot less desk space, which means no loose papers lying around. I will be the office headmaster, making sure everyone's desk is clear.
This is Jeri's old office. We got a lot of stuff from the Student Publications office after they were told to get out by the university.
This is Jeri's new office. As you can see they have barely done anything and instead stored all our new/old chairs in there for the time being.
Jason's new office lacks the flair of the old one. We're debating whether or not to bring the old couch with us, at least until we get a new one for his office. Jeri thinks you could catch AIDS from that couch, its that nasty.
This is our new server. Brandon says its going to kick the old server's ass, which is a good thing. It's pretty quiet too.
The server sits under our new meeting table. This is where, theoretically, we will have editorial meetings and the like. Most likely it will soon be crusted with food leavings.
Right soon after construction began on the office, the Mass Comm decided they needed more faculty office space and very quickly built two pretty roomy offices next to our office. I wonder who our new neighbors will be. Let's hope its someone who appreciates loud cursing and dead baby jokes.
These are the offices completed. And that's all our trash sitting outside the office. Be sure to note the cutesy glowing lights outside the office and the huge gold lettering.
