PARRTAAAYYYY photos

Ah, Wendy, you little scamp. Don't you know those fruity malt drinks will give you breast cancer? Nona almost freaked out when I tried to take this photo. She's camera shy.

Nick's bedroom is the skulking room. Look how frightened Phil is of the flash. He's sure that its the cops coming after him.

My good friend Rosemary, who only hangs out once in a blue moon, came to celebrate my 21st at the Boro. I am really drunk at this point. I can't even open my eyes.

Patty gets really serious when he plays games. He plays to win and then he bets on it. The Boro has the cheapest game of pool in town.

Jason, for some reason, sometimes takes his glasses off before I take his picture. You can see clearly that he is either drunk or hasn't had enough sleep.

A much better photo of Jason. Wendy is peering maniacally at the camera.

Amanda gets very opinionated and passionate about gay and lesbian rights when she is drunk. She talked all night on the subject although I think most people there agreed with her.

Lindsey is giggling about something Joey has just told her. It was probably about her "cooter" as he likes to refer to it.

The kitchen is popular place to sit and chat because it is a traffic zone. Notice how Lindsey is saying something really important and Nick is already thinking of witty comebacks to respond with. We love Nick.

Amber gets very friendly when she is drunk.

Amanda also plays a mean game of pool, much like that woman "The Black Widow," or whatever her name was. Amanda's tactics include distracting her competitors by bending over in front of them.

It bothers me that Erica never fails to look pretty good in a picture, even with the terrible detail of my camera.

Amanda is illustrating the "Nick dance." It involves barely moving your hips to some imaginary rhythm in your head.

Ocoee River Rafting photos

These are pictures from my whitewater rafting trips down the Ocoee.

This is Dustin Boyd, guiding a group which is about to go over a pretty nasty rapid. I climbed down from the highway to a huge rock so I could snap this pic. Dustin's job is to steer the boat from behind with his paddle so that the boat doesn't go over the rapids in the wrong position.

This is Scott and I swimming during a calm period of the river. It was early summer, so the water was pretty cold, but it felt really good. The water looks pretty nasty because of all the minerals that seep down from the Copper Mine at the top of the river. The minerals in the water make the guides' hair and nails grow faster than normal.

Either this is steam from the river rising up, or it's condensation on my camera. Either way, it's kinda pretty.

This is another lovely shot of the river with the sun reflecting off the surface of the water. The water looks really calm here, but you'll hear the rapids before you see them as you turn a bend in the river.

Another shot of me swimming in the Ocoee. It's not very deep, but its quite fast. 3,000 cubic feet of water per second flow on normal days.

NYC Bush protest photos

I saw this woman with what appeared to be her daughter wandering around looking for a good place to take her photo. She even had a small Toto dog in her bag, because in NY, dogs are accessories.

This group of frolicking protestors had a great little song and dance about Bush. I wish I could remember the words.

Some of these grim reapers carried lifeless dead bodies during the march.

What's funny to me personally about this picture is that a similar thing happened at a Pro-Ten Commandments rally in Murfreesboro, TN. Except the guy in Murfreesboro was holding an American flag and trying to knock down protestors with it. How ironic, I guess.

Indian dancers. Sorry, can't tell you much about this photo.

I absolutely LOVE this guy's face. He seems like a great guy to talk to and I wish I had taken a moment to do that. His little doll can be bought on this Web site

Notice the line of cops and barriers on the side of the street. This march made an almost 40-block circle in Manhattan and all the sidewalks were blocked off so regular pedestrians could get to work and continue consumerism as it is.
